EDT RC Car Engineering Design

This project consists of designing, drawing, and building a model to fit onto a remote controlled vehicle that will perform the necessary functions to accomplish a set of tasks. Each team will finish their project in the allotted time period and demonstrate their product's capabilities before the class and the instructor.

Solidworks Playground Equipment Design Project (PEDP)

The goal of this project is to design playground equipments that falls under a certain age range. This project requires an extensive use of Solidwork 3D software and Photoview 360.

EDT Bridge Building Design Competition

In this competition, Engineering Design concepts are infused through the use of math, science, communications and technology. The bridge may only be constructed by basswood and glue and the minimum weight the bridge must hold was 20 Lbs . The goal of this project was to build a bridge with the highest effiency. (efficiency = weight held in Lbs / Mass of bridge in Lbs)

Architecture Design

ArchiCAD is an architectural BIM CAD software for Macintosh and Windows developed by the Hungarian company Graphisoft. The newest version (2010) is ArchiCAD 14. ArchiCAD offers specialized solutions for handling all common aspects of aesthetics and engineering during the whole design process of the built environment — buildings, interiors urban areas, etc. ArchiCAD is a complete design suite with 2D and 3D drafting, visualization and other functions for architects, designers and planners.

Auto Cad Work

The CAD Academy allows students to explore career paths through real-world projects, while establishing a solid understanding of science, engineering, architecture, technology, and mathematics. One of the program in the Cad Academy is the A+ Cad, which provides trainings on how to draw the front, right, and top face of any object.

Google Sketchup

SketchUp is a 3D modeling program designed for architectural, civil, and mechanical engineers as well as filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. It also includes features to facilitate the placement of models in Google Earth. It is designed to be easier to use than other 3D CAD programs.
