EDT RC Car Engineering Design

The task will be to retrieve a ball from the starting box by pushing a raised lever with the RC Car model, contain the ball with the RC Car, go through the obstacle course without losing the ball or disabling the vehicle, and place the ball over a 14" wall. This task will have to be done in a timed situation as many times as possible.

Each team is required to produce this following:

.One set of prototype drawings to be turned in 5 working days after the project is assigned.

.One set of final drawings to be turned in the last working day of the project.

.A working model that will fit over the R/C car and do the tasks it was created for.

.A PowerPoint presentation and written report of the project

Paremeters:

Models must fit onto the RC car using the 1/4" bolts and wing nuts provided. The uses of hinges, chutes, tubes, boxes were allowed. However, RC servos or any other electric motors or motor driven parts are not allowed to be use on the vehicle.
